We get a brief mention at minute 07:40, Satemwa participated in the Malawi taste of harvest competition held under the auspices of EAFCA during the week of 21/10. Our coffees got 3rd and 4th position. Our top coffee with a score of 81.5 (as measured using SCAA cupping rules) had the following comments from the tasting panel; "toasty, cools sweet, cherry, sweet spice". The coffee that came 4th with a score of 81.2 recieved the following comments "round, balanced, sweet, mild citrus".
In the same week EAFCA also conducted an advanced cupping training with the idea of creating some " Q " cuppers in Malawi. This was attended by Mark Gomani and Customu.
